Oh Give Me a Home

This little guy needs a new place to live. Old Jack and JB have voted him off the island. Surely, somebody out there wants a bantam rooster, yes?

All these beautiful chicken pictures...sooner or later I will succumb and find myself driving from Rhode Island to Indiana to bring back a chicken to live in my house, and then I will have to explain a rooster crowing to my neighbors...

He is so pretty, question though, why is one leg feathered and the other not? It seems odd?

Good question, Dawn. They are both feathered but only on the outside of the leg. So the feathers are there, you just can't see them because of his pose.

Since you are establishing a pattern here.....I call dibs on Willamina...if you should ever need a new home for her.

I have a friend in Hartsville (47244) if that's not too far away. If you'd like, I can ask her - she lives on some acreage and probably has the room for him.

Is he friendly?

Oh dear, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I have a bit of a chicken rescue going on at my place! And kittens....

Great pics!

Well, he's a handsome fellow, but the last thing I need around here is MORE roosters!
