Squirrely Shirley

She’s reached the nut ball phase on the personality scale, giving ol’ Dorothy a run for her money.

DSC_6718

She’s small but scrappy. She doesn’t take any bull from anybody else. She bounces around like a ping pong ball and if it ever warms up to the point I can hold the video camera without trembling and chattering my teeth I’ll tape her antics for your viewing pleasure. In the mean time I have no choice but to enjoy her alone.

(I have an overwhelming urge to knit her some colorful legwarmers, Punky Brewster style.)

uChristine, I'm a new follower of your blog. The fact that I live in town keeps me from owning sheep or goats, so I enjoy them vicariously through some of these blogs :D Legwarmers on this sheep is such a funny picture in my mind! I look forward to seeing pics of the active sheep!

I think it's the color. Everything we have that color is squirrely ;-).

Knitted colorful legwarmers, Punky Brewster style, would look fabulous on your sheep! ;D

She's a looker! Can't wait to see the video. I grew up in the country, we always had a variety of animals around. I guess I miss that in my life. Love to your stories. Happy New Years!

She's gorgeous!! And her eyes look so soulful! I had a sheep named Savannah once who thought she was a dog. I *love* the surprising personalities some of our animals have. :-)

OMG! The image, in my mind, of her running around in colorfully striped legwarmers is just TOO precious!

You really MUST make some...
