Makeover Madness

"Did you remember the conditioner?", said Dorothy. "I'll need some to tame my frizz."

"Um, sure, Dorothy. I wouldn't dream of giving you a makeover without it. You're going to look fabulous when we're done."

"Who wants to go first? Blanche, how about you?"

"You know what you're doing, right?", asked Blanche.

"Sure I do. Hop on up here and let's get started."

(one hour later)

"Run ladies, run! She doesn't know what she's doing", screamed Blanche as she escaped.

"I thought you said you knew what you were doing?"

"Well, I did watch a guy do it in a YouTube video."

"YouTube?! YouTube?! Are you kidding me? You're not going to leave me like this are you?"

I Love it, such a great commentary on our DIY community as well.

I guarantee many of us have learned how to do something from YouTube.

I first laughed at the name Blanche, but then when I saw the shearing job, I couldn't stop laughing :)
So funny !

How perfect! The first time I hand sheared I am sure my sheep would have said as much. Good grief, you caught it all...yours and theirs.

Oh, and by the way? It does get easier and they complain less as you learn. Hand in there.

I delight in the antics of your animals and your ability to share with us. Thank you. I am a city girl through and through but I long for the rural life. Thanks for letting me peek into your yard.

You've got guts! I would try sheering, but I think my pride would keep me from showing those pictures! LOL!

Don't give up...I'm sure you'll get better. ;D

Seriously, HOW do you get a sheep wet all the way down to their skin?? You're a braver woman than I. This is something I would not attempt; let the sheep go dirty. :>)

Poor Blanche, next time you are in the area stop by & get the hand shears hanging in the back hallway.
They probably won't help much but it's ok to stop bu anyway!!!!!!!

OH my that was such a funny post! I gave up on trimming the dogs nails and take him to Petsmart. I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to shear sheep! I'll be chuckling over that picture of Blanche running away for a loooong time. Thanks!

Very funny!
Washing and shaving goats for a dairy goat show is not easy, but washing and shearing sheep must be super difficult!
