Roasted Lamb

Holy mackerel is it ever hot? Shirley, with her thick, black wool coat, hasn’t been more than five feet from the watering hole in days.

Laverne walks around, but with her tail up trying to catch a breeze.

Blanche keeps begging me to “Make it stop.”

And Rose  keeps making me feel her forehead. She’s just sure she’s having a stroke.DSC_5775

Hope you’re managing to keep cool in your neck of the woods.

I just got chickens and was teasing my neighbor on what I was going to get next. I've always wanted a sheep, or several sheep. Just found your blog and love all the stories I'm catching up on. They sure make me smile!

I'm right there with them! I'm so ready for fall.

I thought you were leading up to a clipping to give them some relief from the heat...but for all I know, there's a good reason to NOT clip them in the summer (sunburn?).
Anyway, they are beautiful and your comments are fun.

We're not, but enjoyed a laugh at your sheep's expenses ;-).
