Space Invader

This is a big old house, it originally had seven bedrooms. There are all sorts of places for a cat to curl up and take a nap. Yet, she insists on claiming the divot in the sofa. The divot that my butt made because it is my seat. What the heck is up with that?

Our Pansy is sleeping in my chair, and she could be a body double for your long-haired calico.

explains why cats do lots of things they do, like claiming our butt divots on the couch.

(not at all affiliated with that blog, just love it, and yours)

So cute.... our dogs have claimed our family room sofa, the chair in my office, the futon in my husband's office and the two doggie beds.. :-) Lots of divots in this house.

Darn cat. Is that sorta like when I'd have hot flashes at night, get up to cool down and cool the bed off, and come back to find hubby on my side, using my pillow...keeping it warm for me!!1

I guess pets not only fill any hollow spaces in our hearts, but also the hollow spaces in our furniture. She sure is a gorgeous cat!

Cats just KNOW our spot is so much better than any other spot in the house. The minute I get out of my chair one of my cats jumps in...I've decided he's just taking care of me by keeping it warm for when I come back. :)
