And we call him Blackbeard.
"Shall we dance?"
It's tough to capture this elusive creature's beauty in a photo. His iridescent feathers are striking in person. Sometimes turquoise, sometimes royal blue, sometimes a deep forest green, always beautiful. It's easy to understand why the ladies love him.

He's so beautiful. If I was a lady chicken, I'd be all over that!
A handsome fellow he is.
Roosters! Chickens! They're a fine looking flock!
I see I'm not the only one who thinks your chickens are good looking!
He's a handsome guy! In the photo, I can see the emerald and blue iridesence on his tail feathers. Thought about you last night when I came upon a duck standing at the side of the river road quacking at a huge pen full of chickens and ducks. I think he was an escapee.
I love a child with autism too...
I also love Johnny Depp, which is how I got here, psych! You did make me smile ;)
Why is there no Rum???
Blackbeard is a cutie, but I'll always like Bob the most.
He is too cute! If I were a hen I would so be chasing him. :) blessings, marlene

I cannot get over the fact that Johnny Depp lives in your backyard; you are one lucky gal! cheers, QGB
What a handsome guy! I wonder if he would be fearless when faced with my Menina. She's ferocious but desperately wants to be a mama!
She keep scaring our rooster away.
Blessings!
