Okay, so he wasn't just out there shuffling things around. It was much more complicated than that. He completely reorganized the layout of the workshop. And he also started on the insulating. I didn't realize all that because I was busy cleaning, doing laundry and hanging curtains.
Aren't they purdy? I just love ball fringe curtains. Yes, I know they're not the latest fashion craze. My mom had them in her dining room when I was a wee little girl. I can remember them like it was yesterday. His mom had them too. They're uh, classic. And really, what's not to love? Frankly, the fringe amuses me. Their flickability is irresistible. And since it's my room, I'll put whatever I darn well please in there. I'll have you know both of the men in the family couldn't even resist reaching out and touching the soft, fuzzy trim when first seeing them.

Do they still sell those? Did you find them at your Mom's? Wow.....I remember getting in BIG trouble for pulling off a fuzzy ball or two.
My cats would LOVE those things. They (the cat/curtain combo) would send me to the looney bin.
I like 'em! They made me recall my bedroom curtains back when I was a little kid. Pink, white & orange striped, with orange ball fringe. (Yes, it was the '70s.)
Yep Loren, you can still buy 'em!
Oh how cute to have the bobbles on your curtains. Actually I have done a large embroidered pillow with ball fringe.
Christine..its great to catch up on your blog and with you again!
Happy you came to Cococats to hang-out!
Oh Yeah - I have a ball fringe rug, would love to have some matching curtains!
I just wandered over here late from a you may like this pointer.
Those look exactly like the curtains my late Mom had in the bathroom. Slowly, I'm making her house more my own, and one day I looked at the curtains, cut the fabric down, and made no-fringe cafe curtains out of it. Now there's a lot more light in the bathroom, still privacy, and I save electricity in the day time.
To each his own. I realized Mom and I had a cultural divide when she took me clothes shopping when I was a 5'8" Scandinavian-descent teenager and Mom headed for the polka dots :-)
