She's not fearing them or keeping them away. If you listen carefully, the barks are saying to the frogs, "shut up, shut up, shut up."
LOL! Our dogs are doing the same thing. It was quieter last night so maybe they figured out what's going on.

I am always telling Maggie "Good job, you scared away the imaginary wolves, you can shut up now." Seems there are a lot more things to protect us from at about 2:00 a.m. than any other time.
