Alright people. Who was the idiot that signed me up for two accelerated classes this summer? And why, pray tell, did they do such a ridiculous thing? Don't they know that two accelerated classes really equal four regular classes, which is pretty much full-time college student status? In. The. Summer. Hello?
Oh wait, I think it was my idea...
never mind.
If you don’t hear from me again until August, well, don’t worry I’m just buried under a mountain of homework, overgrown by weeds, topped by piles of manure.
It’s a glamorous life I live.

Oh, Christine ~ I feel your pain! I did the same thing, many years ago. I was considering going back to school (I quite college after my Freshman year. At least the first time)to become a Midwife. I realized that I had never taken Chemistry in High School and would need it to get into the nursing program which was the first step toward becoming a Midwife, so I enrolled at our local private college for two summer courses ~ Chem I and Chem II. I aced Chem I and got a B+ in Chem II and didn't go back to school for FIVE MORE YEARS! I was SO burnt out...
GOOD LUCK!
;-)
Well I'm right there with you. After many, many years as a nurse I decided last fall to go back and further my degree. I'm taking 2 eight-week classes this summer. I'm halfway done and my brain is tired. Can't wait till August to spend more time with my very patient family.
Hang in there.

I have the time to study, I don't worry about weeds, but the manure topping? Never mind!!!
