Well, I had my own blog post rolling around in my brain I just needed to get it written down. Then Jen shared a link to another blog with me on facebook and I nearly hurt myself laughing. I do believe these girls are my soul sisters. You really MUST read this. Funny, FUNNY stuff.

I had to then explain to Jen she had no idea how appropriate this post was. I’ve crossed paths with both a giant ape and a giant flamingo in my past much to the Engineer’s dismay and I actually have that EXACT SAME chicken only in a much smaller version which he HATES.
Updated to add: seems that post has gone viral. If you can’t get to it now try again later, it’s worth it.

OMG!!!!!! I think I just peed my pants I laughed so hard. I think the best part is we can all visualize ourselves there making that crazy purchase with a friend - knowing it's going to drive hubby insane. LOVE IT!!!!
I wonder who makes those things, but I wasn't able to find out on the web. Christine, is yours marked?
Christine, There is one in the mail
It is not Karen Anne, it really looks like some artist makes them. How the five foot tall one ended up in a clearance store I have no idea. I bought mine in an antique mall where there were lots of other animals besides chickens.
I cracked up when I saw the picture of Beyonce at the front door. Thanks!
That might be the funniest thing I've ever read!
Very funny but really she gets 2019 comments ?!?!? What does she give so many people to get so much back. I have to give away free soap and T-shirts to get 20 lousy comments
There's a restaurant out here that has a big metal chicken similar to that one. I don't have a pic of it. The lady that seated us said it was from Mexico, not sure if she knew more, didn't ask. The restaurant is called DW's 285 Diner (or something like that) in Conifer, Colorado.
I laughed hard reading that post! The pic with Beyonce at the door was just too hilarious!!
