By my estimation there are 847,000 pieces of wood that need scraped and painted.
I am actively recruiting young bodies to assist in this endeavor as the mere thought of it makes my old body hurt.
I can't wait to see the end result. We all think it is going to look amazing.

At least 847,000 pieces of wood! That's daunting. Congratulations on the grant; it's wonderful that your town has that program.
Not to mention over half those pieces of wood require a ladder or scaffolding to access. Can't wait to see progress.
Phenomenal news on the grant! Definitely a lot of work ahead. We painted our home's exterior last year - - but nothing that tall or intricate. We will enjoy your progress pics as well as before and after.
